Rushton has its very own bird banding station

Bird banding activities began at Rushton Farm in late fall of 2009 . Since that time, thousands of birds have been documented by their banding team, revealing an interesting bird population that uses the farm as an important stopover during migration or as a permanent home for their breeding and nesting sites.
